In addition to making more HeartStrings blocks yesterday, I started the quilting on this top of Mom’s. Yes, it’s the same pattern as the one she made for my uncle and while I planned to quilt leaves, after seeing the other one she decided on the same pantograph Windy Day.
By the time you read this, we’ll be on a plane to New York City. If things go as planned, I’ll have other posts this week while I’m gone. After reading about Judy scheduling posts when she was gone, I tried it out last week on my trip to VA, PA, & MD and it worked great – you hardly knew I was gone – right?
Isn’t it nice to schedule posts to appear when you’re gone? Now . . if we could just schedule these quilts to get finished while we’re away! 🙂 Have a great trip!
yep…hardly knew you were gone…other than you emailed me! LOL I have scheduled holiday and bday posts several weeks to a month ahead of time. Works great!>>I also write up things when I am thinking about them but put them in a separate file and post them when I have had a long dry spell, or when I feel it is the right time to post that info/story.>>Pam@>http://www.pamgwillim.com>mycreativemind.pamgwillim.com

Ooh. The colors are just beautiful on this and the quilting sets it off so nicely! Your mom is making some fantastic things! I loved the fish quilt too that you showed!
I love the colors and look forward to seeing a photo of the finished quilt! Just finished a quick strippy quilt for my project linus group – thanks for another pattern inspiration.
G,Day Mary, the colours are so bright and look like Autumn leaves.Cheers Margaret
