I spent some time this morning pulling fabric and cutting out pillowcases. I’ll be sewing on these on and off over the next 4 days and hope to have 16 pillowcases to send to Alycia after Sunday. Most of mine will be shades of blue but I found a couple green prints and a license plate print I’ve had a long time that I’m using too.
Are any of you planning to participate in the HeartStrings Pillowcase Party? If so, do you have a goal of how many you plan to make? I seem to do better with a target number in mind.
What a fun thing to do! I sent 10 with my last quilt to Alycia but I still may do a few more this weekend.
Your fabrics look great, love the license plates! I’m working my way through my stash of patriotic prints and hope to have at least 12 pillowcases to send to Alycia this time around.

Hadn’t thought about a target number–what a good idea. Right now I have planned for five as I have that many tops sitting here, but can always pull out more stash–LOL!!
I plan on making 9. 4 are already completed and I will be sewing the rest inbetween all the rest of the stuff I have scheduled.
