A walk, football, a binding

I didn’t sleep this morning after working all night but I did need a little nap this afternoon. We watched Philadelphia lose and Pittsburgh win and I managed to hand stitch this binding tonight.

  1. Hi Mary,Ok, I have lurked long enough now…so I wanted to leave you a comment. You are one of my favorites that I visit every day. I admire your work so much (even when you are so hard on yourself!!). Everything you sew or quilt is just beautiful including this one. Have a great day~Karen~

  2. This quilt is one of my favorites, and it is so aptly named. It is impossible NOT to be happy when looking at the colors and the bubbles. Great Job!

  3. I think that after looking at your work Mary, that I use too many colors and it distracts me.I love this quilt and of course you do great work.I think I like the hand sewing best when one can just sit, feel the quilt and see how one achieves satisfaction from a job well done.

  4. Arggg– no, kidding. I was up all night– and quilting until 2am. Hmm…wonder where I got that idea from? Not good. So easy to get it all turned around– guess it’d be ok if I kept getting quilts completed.

  5. That quilt is so well named – it brings a smile to your face just looking at it. I think I’m going to have to make one of those.
