  1. I always amazes me when things shut down for a couple inches of snow. We just had 6-8″ on Friday & life went on as usual. If the wind had come up it would be a different story. You're a Minnesotan now, and a couple inches of snow is NOTHING, right?

  2. Last night due to “threat of snow” most of the schools cancelled classes for today and many companies are opening late…uhppps – this morning absolutely no snow…no ice…in fact it is the nicest morning in several days!

  3. Well Mary, here in Toronto, it was 5F, with a wind chill in the minus’s past 10, it’s really cold, but the sun is shining, not a cloud in the sky! But stepping outside, my nostrils nearly froze! Now that’s cold, even in Minnesota! You will be warmer tomorrow and we will still be cold!

  4. Hey! We got at least 10 inches here in Oakland Tn, just east of Memphis. I think it was actually about a foot, which is unheard of here! If we get an inch it is enough to shutdown our town. We just aren’t equipped to deal with it! By Saturday, it is forecasted to be back up to 74 degrees! Yes, that is not a typo, 74! I am glad cuz we are having my grand-daughter’s 2nd bday party! Stay warm!

  5. Hello Mary, we have only recently got rid of our snow, which shut our town down, as per usual, it wasnt terribly deep if truth be known, not in the town anyway, but ho hum, everything got shut down. They could take a lesson from Russia, they just get on with life. Sad isn’t it! It was fun whilst it was here though. But I was glad when it went. Brrrrrrr Janet in UK
