I have NEVER run out of yarn during my bind off until tonight …. and as much of this yarn (Wollmeise) as I have, I can’t believe I couldn’t find something that matched it exactly but I made do. My only regret is that the entire edge isn’t bound off in the substituted yarn but it’s done and it will keep someone nice and warm.

This is beautiful! As a new knitter I love seeing your knitting projects. I recently started the Yowza shawl and loved the ribbed edging you did instead of the ruffle. Do you think I could use the directions for the ribbing on this one as a basis for ribbing on that one?
It is beautiful. My husband and kids remind me often that no one notices tiny differences except me. The second verse is if they do and say something just ignore them.’
