Happy 4th

We’ve got company to help us celebrate the holiday!

After everyone went to bed, I did sew for just a little while. I wanted to actually work on my RWB half square triangles on the 4th. Just 7 blocks left to make.

Both Chris and I were up in the sewing room earlier … he assembled my chair, set up the printer, and assembled my new stacking bins for me. Usually I’m good about doing all of those but I’ve been too tired to start pulling stuff out of boxes so I’m thrilled that he helped me out.

  1. Looks like you had a great 4th. Glad that you and Chris got some stuff put together and that you are getting better even though you are experiencing a little weariness.

  2. So glad to see the big smile on your face since you can spend time with the family again. And how nice that your son put together your stuff. My 2 sons-in-law moved some furniture in our basement family room on Sunday so we are ready for new egress window installation. Thank goodness for those “willing and able” young guys. Happy 4th!!

  3. SEW glad that you were able to make progress on your RWB quilt on the 4th (and that you are able to enjoy your guests!) Sweet of your son to help with the tasks you haven’t been able to manage. Best of luck with finishing the remaining blocks!
