Even with the points cut off on the edges, I still love this spool quilt. It’s UFO number 14 for the year so I’m making some progress.
Another top is on the longarm and already partially quilted so that’s even more progress made. I don’t expect to get any sewing done next week or the week after due to a lot of appointments next week and the isolation period following my radioactive iodine treatment scheduled for Sept 6 so we’ll see how much I can get done in the next couple days.
You have done an amazing amount considering most people would be dithering over the upcoming procedure.
this pattern has long been one of my comfort quilt favorites, and your quilt is an excellent version!
Looks great. Such a nice spot for picture taking too.
Beautiful quilt! I’m going away for a few days next month and this is a great idea.
Well wishes for all of your medical concerns….
Beautiful quilt! he colors are soft and comforting. Wishing you smooth going during your procedures next week!!
That is a wonderful quilt! Didn’t notice the points. RE: your medical situation. Jo Kramer, quilter, of Jo’s Country Junction blog went through that about a year ago and documented her experiences. You may find it interesting. Wishing you all the best.
Love it! Those colors are so pretty together. I would be tempted to keep it if I were you.
Good luck on the medical issues coming up.
Love this quilt, it’s great. Hope things work out good for you.
The quilt is beautiful – well done. Best wishes on your upcoming treatment.
Love your quilt. You even make Florida look lovely….and I know how hot it can be there having grown up in Lakeland. Hope all goes well with your procedure.
Really like this one!
Beautiful quilt, I may try that next, yes, after I finish all my UFO’s. All our prayers on your upcoming treatment. Nina
I love it!! the colors work so well with that design!
Your quilt is beautiful! I love this. Best wishes for your upcoming appointments.
Mary, I have gone thru the radioactive iodine procedure – many years ago. the hardest part was not contamination anything. I used paper and plastic utensils for me as to not contaminate anything for DG. It will go fine.
Would love to edit: contaminating and DH
The spools quilt is stunning. All the best for your treatment.
