I’m still sewing along with my HeartStrings group and pulled out my string bin today to make a set of HeartStrings blocks.
I’m not doing any sorting or themed blocks … just sewing what I pick up. They may not look like much yet, but I always love the look of our scrappy HeartStrings quilts.
I love heartstrings blocks! The magic appears right before your eyes. I love to use up my scraps, BUT they keep multiplying! How does that happen???
Those strings look wrinkled. Do you sew them that way?
These are my go to when I feel the need to just sit and sew and clear my head. . . .I love the scrappy look when putting them together; however when using a foundation the quilt can become really heavy.
The blocks look fabulous.
I wish I could pull strings without plan and have them look that great!
Do you keep your strips sorted into color groups? That bin looks so coordinated.
