Woven Labels

My usual way of labeling quilts is to design them in Avery Labels and print them on Printed Treasues fabric sheets but I’m always looking for something quick and easy.  I’ve looked at woven labels in the last but hadn’t tried them. Since I don’t use any advertising on my site, I rarely get contacted by companies but I was contacted by Dutch Label Shop and offered an opportunity to try them so of course I jumped at it.

I know these don’t have the date on them but if I like them I’ll order some more in a small batch with 2019. Unfortunately, I won’t get a chance to see them until I get home after our month in Maine. I found it very easy to make a simple design and ordered two different ones …. one for my personal quilts and one for my donated HeartStrings quilts.

Since I haven’t used them yet, I can’t tell you what I think of the actual label but they have offered a discount (use maryquilts15 for a 15% discount) if you want to check them out for yourself and I’ll write again when I get home and tell you how I like them.

  1. Yes, one of my big reluctancey’s with the label idea is the lack of dates on them. How many labels do you get in a “small batch” ? I love the idea otherwise!

  2. I have ordered and used labels from this company. They are very reasonable and very nice labels. I ordered 3 different designs and use them according to who I give the quilt to. I even put them inside the tote bags I make and give to family and friends.
