Gifting quilts

We had a great day, Mom and I worked a bit in the sewing room getting labels ready and then Mom and Maureen sewed labels and I embroidered some names on stockings Mom made last year. After dinner, we gave Curt and Kevin the quilts we’d made for them. They’re for Christmas but it was nice of Mom to give them early so I could be here too.

I’m sorry I missed seeing everyone that was here on Saturday for Mom’s birthday but I’m enjoying our visit!

  1. Hi Mary! Beautiful quilts and really nice pictures to go with them. I’m glad you made it safely there, and are enjoying some time together. Happy Happy Tuesday to you. ~smile~ Roseanne

  2. Ok, who are these relatives? I see you and your mother with a lady who has to be your sister due to the strong resemblance but who are the guys? Also- the quilts are fantastic.

  3. Isn’t it nice to have the chance to see the smiles when they receive the gift of a quilt made by loved ones? What a nice family photo.

  4. Oh, it’s a pity that Fischquilt is not the whole quilt. I only see a part. He’s so great, I’d like to see him all over.

  5. It’s always nice to be able to present when giving a quilt. Glad to hear that you are enjoying your visit, even though you couldn’t be there for your Mom’s birthday on Saturday!
