Do you share your quilts online? I try to make sure and watermark my photos, not just because people post them everywhere without identifying where they came from but also because I know that I save photos at times and later don’t remember where I found them and know that other people do too.
Cecile saw a quilt in my photo of Finn and wondered about the pattern … it is one of my favorite quilts and I use it all the time so it shows up in lots of photos. I sent her a better photo but I thought I would share it here too. The pattern is from the book Best of Black Mountain Quilts.

It’s a beautiful quilt but I have given up buying anything quilt related, darn. Don’t know about watermarks on photos, have to check it out.

Is it relatively easy to tell us how to watermark our quilts??? We just ran into a scam out of San Diego about local quilts in the south shore of Boston. Thanks (after Christmas is fine 🙂 ) Susan
That is a beauty! I don’t watermark my photos but should probably consider it. Thanks for the idea.
Mostly when I have added a watermark to a picture it’s because I want readers to be able to find me. I do it by adding text to my picture when editing. Is that how you do this too? Love the colors in this quilt.

That is a wonderful quilt – really simple but so effective. I do watermark my quilts and just started using Watermark Plus – lets me do them in batches, but I can switch to single if the “standard” place doesn’t work. It has sped up my time on the blog.
