Do you remember the three t-shirt quilts Mom and I made from my SIL’s shirts? They were given to her grandchildren today. I wasn’t there but I did get photos.
I didn’t sew today … Keith and I took a long walk and while the weather is gorgeous here – it was a bit warm for the 6.72 mile walk and I was pretty wiped out by the time we got home.
The kids look so excited to get those special quilts. Good for you on that long walk.
Love the quilts. The importance of these quilts will grow as they are reminded of their grandmother and share stories about her related to the quilts as time goes on. That is a long walk and I am so happy that you were able to make it. Hope today is for sewing, but if not hope it is for football and beer with Keith.
