We didn’t work long today but I pieced a backing and straightened up a bit while Mom fused the last of the hearts for our 2nd quilt. This one will not have a border and I didn’t put all the blocks up on the design wall since I’ll have to wait until Mom appliqués the hearts before finishing it but I did want to see how it’s going to look …

- Quilt size is is the same as the first one – 54 x 72
- blocks are 6 inches finished (6.5 with seam allowances)
- blocks are set 9 across and 12 rows down
- we used my Accuquilt heart die for the appliqué (fused them with Heat and Bond lite and Mom will machine stitch them down)
Very pretty, those hearts look great.
You are a great team. Love the look of this quilt. It looks like a great big hug.
I have seen 3 months of work at my pace in the last week at your house – admittedly there are 2 of you. I am just happy that you are able to work together and make thinks that bring joy.
Very pretty quilt!! I love the hearts!
It is looking very pretty! —“Love”
SEW nice of you to make work for you Mother!! LOL Seriously, the kit concept for your team efforts works really well to boost productivity.
I really like this quilt! It looks like it could use up a lot of scraps! And I suppose if one didn’t want hearts, any outline would do!
