Some of you were wondering how much progress Mom has made on her projects so I thought I’d share some photos.
The schoolhouse top is done
Her Nine patch and Heart top is done (and the hearts for my quilt have been appliquéd).
She made the rest of the blocks for my sister’s Churn Dash and assembled the top.
The Turtle top is done and all 4 of these will be quilted by me so I’ve got some work ahead of me!
She’s also done all the appliqué and assembled the petals and circles top – this one she’ll quilt.
She finished binding the giraffe and sea creature quilts.
She’s got more projects to work on but she’s making lots of progress!
You and your mom make lovely quilts! So nice that you can visit back and forth fairly often. I like your new bike. Sounds like you are getting good use out of it.
“Busy” sounds like an understatement! Way to go Mom!

Hi Mary! Thanks for sharing the updates on your mom’s quilts. I just LOVE the churn dash quilt, and it’s one I’ve never made myself. I don’t know why as I’m always drawn to it.
