We have a loose definition of “precuts” for our 2019 Precut Party – Stephanie pulls a new precut for us each month and we work on new projects and UFO’s. April is “shapes” and I had to give that a little thought before deciding what I’d focus on during the month. At first, I thought I might start a new Tumbler quilt but I’m traveling again in less than 3 weeks so I’ve decided to focus on a couple UFO’s rather than starting a new quilt.
Goals for April
- Work on Hexagon Flower UFO and get it to the finished top stage.
- Work on Apple Core UFO – any progress will be good!
- Quilt 2 tops
- Bind both Charm Square quilts that I quilted in March.
- Make progress (or finish!) crocheting the Ripple Afghan.
Are you playing along with our monthly Precut Party?! What shape will you work with in April?!
I think my shapes will be squares. I purchased about 150 charm Squares in our patriotic colors and I’m making hubby a quilt. After that, who knows?
I’m not part of it, but that list made me tired!
I have some precut tumbler shapes somewhere in my sewing room – now to find them. This will be good incentive to do something with them.
I’m not playing along but have some projects I need to get done this month. We just found out that our granddaughter will be having a little girl in August so I need to get a quilt made this month for sure. I do not do the quilting on my quilts and my favorite quilter is 3 to 4 months out. I need to learn to do my own quilting on my machine. It is capable but I just have not had the time to practice. I think I’m incapable…lol. My excuse anyway. Plus I have another one to start and a couple to finish. It sounds like you will be very busy also.
