Heading home

Friday night was spent at Ann’s house in Maryland and we had dinner out with Ann, Jamie, and Ben.

Saturday morning, Mom and I drove back to Virginia. I spent the night there enjoying some more time with Maureen and Mom before heading to the airport this morning. I’ve got a travel day ahead and will arrive home at 9pm, just in time to welcome Adam for a very brief visit tomorrow!

I never mind flying since I always carry along my activity bag … my Kindle, my iPad, and some knitting. I started this Be Simple scarf last Sunday night before leaving home but didn’t work on it at all this week. I’ll make some progress on it today while I listen to my audiobook.

Pattern – Be Simple Variation – a free pattern available on Ravelry.

Yarn Wollmeise Pure, fingering weight

Needle size – 6

This pattern is a favorite of mine and I’ve knit it several times … I think this was the last one I knit and I love how it turned out!

  1. Love the scarf, Mary!

Your box of quilts arrived today. Thank you so much! They are all beautiful. I’m sure those we donate them to will love them.

    Happy spring, Kathy

  2. Ahh, that scarf is stunning! I probably have commented on it before as those colors are just luscious. That does it, my next cast on after I finish the Workday Scarf I’m currently working on.
