Thanks for all the anniversary wishes … and yes, we are in Washington DC. It’s a place we love to visit and we’ve been many times. We’re staying at the Marriott Wardman Park and it’s one of our favorite locations – a Metro stop just steps away and close enough to the National Zoo to walk there. We plan on doing a lot of walking if the weather cooperates!

Dinner tonight was a little Italian place near the hotel – Sorriso Bistro and it was yummy! I loved that it was a small place, just below street level. This one will definitely go on our list of favorites for future visits!

He passed on the gelato but I can’t guarantee that he won’t go back for some while we’re here!
