Here’s a photo of the teal Ripple I finished last night! This is a variegated or ombré yarn and while I loved the skein I wasn’t sure I was liking how it was working up — in the end, I’m happy with it and it’s more stash yarn used and not sitting in a bin!
I’ve been asked if these are for donation and yes they are! I found 2 that had been done for at least a couple years tucked away in the closet a couple months ago so counting all the ones I’ve finished in the last month and a half, I have 8 ready to donate!
The smaller child size ones will go to SafePath in GA along with some quilts for donating and I’m thinking that I might wait until I have a few more of the larger size and see about donating them at Moffitt, the cancer hospital where I’m being treated. It’s always SO cold there when I’m waiting for labs and scans and I know people there for Chemo must get cold! If they can’t use them, I’ll find somewhere else. For now, I’m just enjoying making them!

The colors in this one are really rich and it turned out beautiful. I should pull out the tub with the remaining afghans my mom made and have my girls take anything they think they want, and then donate the rest of them. They do no good sitting in a closet here. Thanks for the idea.
