Assembled

The dinosaur top is done! I already posted that this was a free pattern that came along with the fabric bundle and I’d looked up online to see if I could share a link. I found a similar pattern shown on Pinterest that gives the measurements for the blocks and borders – the layout is a bit different from the free pattern I was given but I changed my quilt and didn’t put borders on it anyway. I’ll definitely use this idea again – probably in a smaller size for kiddie quilts.

I had just enough focus fabric to make extra blocks and set them 6 x 9 for a quilt that measures 48 x 72.

  1. That is just adorable. Love the pattern too. I have that pattern but forgot about it. It’s a great one for fussy cutting focus fabrics.

  2. I love this and all your crochet Afghans too. Picked up some lizard fabric at a thrift store and it would look good in this pattern too.

  3. That is just o stinkin cute! I’ve seen that pattern before… it’s a good one for a print like this. Yeah, this little dinosaur gem gets my vote of super dooper approval!
