Unconditional love

Thank you for all your comments and emails on my post about the anniversary of Chesty’s death. We were so lucky to have had him in our life and equally as lucky that Finn is with us now. What are the chances that I’d be so blessed to love and be loved by both of them?!

And just as important, I wanted to tell you that Keith is feeling fine today. We went out for an easy bike ride … I couldn’t keep him in the house!

I also consider myself very lucky to have spent the last 30 years with him!

  1. Love is often a shared thing in that if you give love it prompts whatever you love to return love. Your love and care for Finn is obvious and the love you give Keith is even more obvious. You share love and reflect Keith’s such that you both glow in pictures I have of you two together.

Love the use of the big board. I also have a self healing mat that I can slide between fabric an ironing surface to make clean straight cuts without killing my back crawling around the floor.

  2. Hi again Mary! So very glad to hear that Keith is feeling much better. Finding love and sharing love is just the best, and it opens your eyes and heart for more love to enter. {{Hugs}} I’m glad you and Keith found each other. ~smile~ Roseanne

  3. I think it’s far easier to find a good dog who loves you unconditionally than it to find a good match in a husband. You were lucky and I find that I’ve been lucky twice. The first one died but my old friend stepped up and took his place.

  4. We really are blessed to have the unconditional love of pets. We know our time is getting short with our cat as he is about a month away from being 18 years old. He has had a pampered and loving life, and has given us lots of love in return.

Glad to hear Keith is feeling good again.

  5. Glad to hear Keith is feeling better. Heat & humidity can zap a person before they even realize. It’s only happened to me a couple times & that is enough!

  6. Wish there was a “like” button for posts like your’s today.

  7. it’s wonderful to have such a great friend, especially when it’s your husband! We are almost at 48 years. I almost can’t remember a time “before” Terry. We have had a lot of dogs over the years. We almost always have had 2 or 3 at a time. I loved each one of them but honestly have had 3 that have been totally devoted to me. We have 3 dogs now including 2 Min Pins that are know to live well into their teens. I suspect the dogs we have now will be our last and they are all three great friends. One thing for sure, we dote on our dogs!
