Seashell Stripe blanket

I finished crocheting this one last week but am just now getting around to measuring and photographing it. It is huge and I love it. I’m going to hold on to it for now while I decide if I’m going to keep or gift it.

Blanket info

  • Pattern is Seashell Stripe – free on the Attic24 website.
  • Yarn is Caron Big Cakes – colorway is Blueberry Torte – I used 6 cakes on this one!
  • Hook size – I used a (K) hook to chain 154 and to crochet the first row and then switched to an (I) hook.
  • Finished blanket size is 60 x 84

The texture created by the shells is just beautiful.

  1. I would keep it, it is beautiful! Is this the same shell pattern that you are using now for the baby blanket? Love the colors, I need to buy it!!

  2. That turned out beautiful and is huge! The colors are great! I want to try the shell pattern soon! I’m working on an afghan in the Caron Big Cakes Grape Jelly color and really like how it is turning out. It’s not a shell pattern, but has some resemblance to shells. Will probably use 4 skeins. It’s 39″ wide.
