Seashell Stripe blanket

I finished crocheting this one last week but am just now getting around to measuring and photographing it. It is huge and I love it. I’m going to hold on to it for now while I decide if I’m going to keep or gift it.

Blanket info

  • Pattern is Seashell Stripe – free on the Attic24 website.
  • Yarn is Caron Big Cakes – colorway is Blueberry Torte – I used 6 cakes on this one!
  • Hook size – I used a (K) hook to chain 154 and to crochet the first row and then switched to an (I) hook.
  • Finished blanket size is 60 x 84

The texture created by the shells is just beautiful.

  1. It’s not just the texture created by the shells that makes this beautiful, those colors are yummy, too!

  2. Keep it or gift it to me🤣🤣🤣🤣 It’s stunning! It’s ok to keep it!!

  3. I would keep it, it is beautiful! Is this the same shell pattern that you are using now for the baby blanket? Love the colors, I need to buy it!!

  4. That turned out beautiful and is huge! The colors are great! I want to try the shell pattern soon! I’m working on an afghan in the Caron Big Cakes Grape Jelly color and really like how it is turning out. It’s not a shell pattern, but has some resemblance to shells. Will probably use 4 skeins. It’s 39″ wide.
