I didn’t get the big fat quarter bundles that the others found at Marden’s before I arrived but I did manage to bring back a little loot to Tampa!
And I have 6 tops to quilt that I brought back from the HeartStrings sew-in….. I won’t get to any of these before January but they will be done in time to go back to Maine with me in April.
All this came out of the 2nd suitcase so you can see I did get some unpacking done today and I also worked on assembling the HST diamond top. Why do I always underestimate how long it’s going to take me to finish a top? Going to head up and work on it a little before bed!
I hear you sister on underestimating time! I really like the half square diamond quilt. Must remember that one. It would be a perfect leader endear quilt. Thanks for sharing.
Yes I too always think it won’t take as long to put together a quilt as it really does. It is nice not to have a time limit but then again, sometimes it seems to take even longer when I am not on a schedule.
