Its been cool today but neither of us minded. We’re spending a couple days in Sarasota – time out of our routine to relax and focus on each other.
Our hotel is on Sarasota bay but we went to the beach for lunch … tomorrow we’ll spend a few hours on the beach too. It’s about a 15 minute drive but the hotel has a shuttle and “beach club” so we have all the amenities of the hotel at the beach.

A fun little get-away together – very smart of you. Looks like a pretty location to relax and enjoy. I’m watching it snow this morning and worrying about whether my husband will make it home today from his work related road trip to Iowa or get stranded somewhere.
