I’ve started this pattern several times and pulled it out each time because I thought the “holes” were too big but one commenter encouraged me to give it another try – I’m sorry, I don’t remember who!
Pattern is free from Yarnspirations – Baby Blocks Blanket but I didn’t really understand how to do it before watching the video from The Crochet Crowd website.
- Yarn is Sprightly Worsted from Bluprint – Sky Blue
- Hook size is (I)

I’m not normally a blue person but that shade of blue is just dreamy!!! I love this one!
It is beautiful! Glad the commenter had experience to share with you and that you are making it.
Glad you’re giving it a try! I really liked doing this one! ~Mindy
Corner2Corner is one of my favourite afghans to crochet! I really love that soft blue – and I’m glad that you’ve given the pattern another try!
I love the look of that and have wanted to do a corner to corner “something” for a while. I have to finish something first!
I like corner to corner afghans too. RepeatCrafterMe.com has some really cute patterns using corner to corner. I made the sheep one for a friend and have the yarn to make the teddy bear one. The sheep was so much fun to crochet. Once you get going on it, it’s a pretty fast crochet. Yours is a beautiful shade of blue!!
I like to use corner-to-corner when I have bits and bobs of yarn. I can plan when to change to the decrease just by weighing the yarn.
I also like corner to corner – it is a good crochet to just keep going. I have not made the sheep one but I am thinking about making something for Easter – I have a new grand baby.
