Mini Retreat

My plans for a minI retreat between Chris and his family leaving and New Year’s day is not working out as expected … I woke up with the flu the last day of their visit (Friday).

I’ve managed to work a little bit on my list of goals between naps but I’m not making as much progress as I’d like … in addition to finishing the hat I shared on Saturday,

  • I finished the last of the 48 light and dark HeartStrings blocks,
  • trimmed and bound the Bento Box quilt
  • finished the pink and beige corner to corner blanket.

No photos yet and I doubt I’m even going to make it to the sewing room today but I will start another hat since I can knit sitting quietly in my chair. Hoping to feel better tomorrow as there are a couple more things I’d like to get done.

  1. I was sick too, still not over it, mine are sinus issues. Very normal here in the St. Louis area. I am quilting my king size 112” civil war quilt and it’s sooo big. I do hope you feel good soon, it’s no fun being sick.

  2. Not fun being sick when you have so much you want to accomplish. I sounds like you accomplished quite a bit in spite of not feeling well. Hope you feel better soon!
