Progress is being made on the tumblers, a top is loaded on the longarm and ready for quilting, and I finished the pink/brown ripple last night so I started a new blanket.
- Pattern – Blanket Stitch, found free on Ravelry. It looks kind of like a puff stitch to me but it’s super easy and has a lot of texture.
- Yarn – Caron Simply Soft Brites – colorway is Berry Blue. This yarn has been in the stash for a long time … I no longer remember what it was originally intended for.
- Hook size – I
- Chained 120

Love the color! You must be feeling a lot better. Hope the trend continues.
I love the color and that stitch. I’m going to check it out. I am feeling the urge to crochet again.

Hi Mary! You are feeling better and stronger now? This is a pretty stitch. It reminds me of the clamshell stitch a bit . . . but I’m no expert on stitches by a long shot. ~smile~ Roseanne
Oh – that color is luscious!! This one will be gorgeous!
Beautiful color and I love the blanket stitch. I also think it looks like a puff stitch. I recently crocheted a baby blanket using that stitch. Sounds like you are feeling much better. We got 5 inches of snow last night so I will be sewing today for sure. Snow is unusual for us in the Seattle area but seems to be a yearly thing lately. I do not like it!!!
That color is to die for! And while I know next-to-nothing about crochet, I love the looks of that stitch! This one is gonna be gooooooooooooooooooood!!!
