Chisel Stars

I’m so glad I got an early start on this quilt. I’m still working on washing all dishes in the kitchen and I’m unpacked from the hotel stay and I’ve started to pack for Saturday’s trip to GA but I did steal some time away to finish the Chisel blocks.

I’ve got very few sewing goals for the remainder of March since I’m traveling again in a couple days and I’ve got to prep for our trip to Maine when I get back but I do need to get a few things accomplished.

  • assemble the Chisel Star top
  • quilt Wallhanging for Mom
  • quilt at least 1 UFO of mine
  • trim the last two quilts from Maine and get the binding machine stitched on and ready for hand stitching.

  1. That top looks really good!
Sounds like your schedule is still pretty busy – hope you can accomplish everything on it!

  2. Just love that quilt and colors too! My kind of colors! I know bright colors are the big thing right now but I have a hard time using them. Just not my thing I guess. Good luck with the dish washing!

  3. Gorgeous rich colors. The chisel star is one I haven’t made but will have to put on my “to do” list. Enjoy that Georgia trip. Hopefully it’s fruitful in terms of property.

  4. Lovely quilt, I think it’s similar to a few I’ve made. Always turns out nice no matter what fabrics are used. I really like your fabrics.
