Making and donating quilts is what I do … I have also made a number of crochet afghans over the last 14 months or so … some still waiting to be donated so when I saw a blog post for Hands2Help 2020 and read through the list of organizations for this year I thought great, I can donate some of the afghans and a quilt or two.
If you’re interested in helping out, click on the link above to see the groups chosen to receive quilts (and afghans) this year.
Thank you from all the people whose lives you touch! This really does seem like a great fit for you.
This is such a fantastic effort every year! I’ve participated in it for 4 or 5 years, and I love that you can donate to local charities too. AND, everyone that participates gets a “prize” for taking part in the challenge!
That is so wonderful that you’re going to participate in Hands2Help this year, Mary! I made 2 queen-sized quilts for the Carolina Hurricane project, & a lap quilt each for both Mercyful Quilts & Quilty Hugs last year. It’s a great program & your fabulous afghans will be so appreciated! #hands2help2020
Yep, Hands2Help is a great event. I’ve done it for a couple of years and look forward to getting some donation quilts out to the organizations.
