And we’re home

No problems on the drive home and Rae read Finn a book while Keith unpacked the car and we got settled.

After dinner, we enjoyed some time on the porch although the mosquitoes were a bit of a nuisance which made me miss the screen porch at Big Canoe! Rae burned off some of the energy that had built up sitting in the car all day! I don’t know if this video will work but let’s give it a try.

  1. Wonderful picture and I bet it was a beautiful moment.

  2. I just realized how much Rae looks like you! That smile she had riding the scooter made me see it! Enjoy the time she is with you.

    • Yes I’m sure we will but I won’t get as much quilting done! That’s OK, I’m getting backs and batting’s ready so when she leaves I’ll be ready to quilt!

  3. Yep! The video worked! When I saw Rae smiling as she skated by, I could really see a resemblance to you. I notice someone else mentioned that too. How lovely to have a granddaughter that looks like you!
