I decided to participate in Hands2Help this year and chose Quilts for Compassion to send my donations to in large part because they accept quilts of all sizes for men, women, and children, AND they accept crochet blankets. I packed up 6 today, 2 quilts and 4 crochet blankets and will ship them off tomorrow.
The finished quilts and blankets have been piling up around here and I hope to get more ready for donation in the next couple weeks. A few to ship off and a stack to take with me to GA to donate.
That is so kind of you to donate those beautiful afgans and quilts. I wish I could get my projects done as fast as you do then maybe I could also do some donating.

Mary You are like a Quilt in a day type person but when i can’t accomplish what i see others do I get frustrated. Question quilting (any hobby) is expensive (which i have a fabric store of my own material plus SCRAPS) do you get any help with purchase of fabric or is all the quilts you make out of your own fabric stash . Like Susan said your generosity is wonderful.

I’m participating in #hands2help also & while I don’t have my “quiltsofcompassion project done (or even started), I have made several for some of the other groups. This is the 2nd year I’ve participated in #hands2help & really think it’s an excellent organization (with a wonderful, worthy cause). Thank you for all you do!
