I finished the binding on my Triangle Scrap quilt a couple nights ago. It’s a variation of a quilt I made several years ago based on a vintage quilt I saw online. This is the 4th binding finished and I’ve got two more trimmed and waiting – I plan to get one started so I can this hand stitch it this weekend.
After looking at closeups of both quilts, because I was curious, I especially like that you chose fabrics that from a distance read as strong solids, even jewel-like. Very nice light/dark contrasts; not painful to the eyes like some are.
Not your quilts, but some others I’ve seen. Red, white, & blue is usually too harsh for my eyes for some reason.
