The Tampa Bay Lightning won the Stanley Cup tonight!!!! It’s been a nail biting playoff series and we’re thrilled with the win. Funny, but considering all the years in Minneapolis, we didn’t become hockey fans until we moved to Tampa.

Congratulations to the Tampa Bay Lightning! I thought of you when I realized that they had won.
I haven’t followed hockey since I was a teen. My mom and dad were avid fans and watched on TV and when the travelling teams came thru towns I lived in. As I wrote that I remembered my younger daughter interviewed with a hockey team in the early 2000s and we attended a game. Glad the Lightning won.

Being born in Chicago and living in Northern Indiana I have always LOVED the Black Hawks. It’s thrilling when your team wins the playoffs, isn’t it. I loved that my grandson got to go to the celebration downtown when Chicago won.
