I fixed it

So my mistake from yesterday was just that I had mixed up two squares as I sewed the blocks together and I did not like how the resulting three blocks were looking in this row. That green block in the 3rd row was supposed to be one block to the left.

And now that I’ve picked out a bunch of partial seams and resewn them, I’m happier with this one.

  1. I couldn’t find the issue on my own, and even when I know where it was, they both look good to me. It’a interesting how each one of us sees things from their own perspective. Seems there is a valuable lesson one could learn from something this simple.

  2. Isn’t it funny how those things really bother us?? 😁 But I agree Mary…I would have switched them as well!! Love the fabrics in your quilt…there’s something about greens and purples that just look great together!!

  3. It’s a beautiful quilt but I could not see a mistake before you made it right. But I know how we focus on things we know are wrong even if others cannot see it. I would have also fixed it.

  4. The quilt does look a lot better now the blocks are changed. You seem to get the deer a lot. Do they have a hunting season down there? We get the deer coming thru the yard when we’re having deer season. I don’t like to see the animals killed. They are such a proud looking animal! Take care!

  5. If you hadn’t mentioned it I would have never noticed but we must fix what bothers us! It’s a very calming quilt and will be a very nice comfort quilt.

  6. Thanks for sharing where and what was wrong. I kept focusing on the top row and didn’t see anything wrong. However, once you pointed it out I agree — I would have changed it too.
