Chris took Rae fishing today and was telling her that I used to fish when I was young. He asked me to text him one of the family photos of me fishing and said Rae thought I looked like her in it. Funny thing is that we’re exactly the same age in these photos. The only reason I know that is that I broke my arm right around my 8th birthday and spent that summer in a cast. Of course, she has a fancier rod and I fished with a cane pole!

That’s some history of broken bones you’ve got there, Mary!! Rae looks like she’s having fun. What a great father/daughter activity!

I agree–you can really see the resemblance in those photos ;)))
hugs from far away, Julierose
The resemblance is remarkable. Happy smiles.
There is a definite resemblance:)
How fun! There sure is a resemblance. Gosh, it’s a ways off but just think of some day when Rae adds HER 8-year-old granddaughter’s photo to these two. Let’s hope Rae does gets a granddaughter like you, but not the broken bones! By the way, how’s the ankle?
She looks just like you!
Definitely a family resemblance! What a fun pair of photos! She is growing up too fast isn’t she?
Same teeth!!
