Finished

Thanks to watching some football, I managed to finish this one up a little early tonight, and the Vikings managed to squeak out a win.

  • Shell Stitch Baby Blanket – pattern found free on Ravelry
  • Hook size – H
  • Yarn – Caron Cotton Cakes, colorway Amethyst Sky
  • Chained 133
  • I used about 2 and 2/3 of a skein and the blanket measures approximately 39 x 50

It’s late so the color is a little off but I know if I don’t take photos tonight, I might not get them before we leave. The color is more true to life in this close up. Such pretty texture!

So I’ve finished all 3 tasks with a day to spare which is good since I have to get Finn groomed, do laundry and pack, and straighten things up around here tomorrow. If I have time, I might start another hat.

  1. It’s so pretty! That Vikings win was definitely a nail biter. Dave got so disgusted with them that he went into the other room and watched a college basketball game instead, and almost missed the ending of the football game.

  2. It’s so pretty!one thing I’ve learned from seeing your crochet is that I crochet too tight. I need to start going up a hook size or two to get a more relaxed stitch.

  3. Always busy! You get so much done! When and if I ever get to the States again I’m going to try and find that Caron yarn. You’ve made so many pretty things with this brand!
