The last hat (for now) is finished.
- Pattern – Be Kind – found free on Ravelry
- Needle size – #6 for brim, #8 for body
- Yarn – Cascade 220 Superwash
I like this pattern and will make it again but the fold up brim could be longer so next time I’ll knit to 9 inches from cast on before starting the decreases.
I love seen your knitted hats. I have knitted 5 hats in the last few weeks and they will be donated to the Huntsman Cancer Center in Salt Lake City a few months. Knitting keeps me awake in the evenings while I watch TV..
Nice hat, Mary! Would you believe I’ve never knit with Cascade 220? From what I understand, it’s a good serviceable yarn.
A great hat, once again!
Another lovely hat and thanks for the link. I have lots of odd balls of wool that I can use for hats 🙂
That is a cute pattern that would work for both boys and girls. One of these days I will attempt to make one. I did just receive my Mandala Ombre yarn to make the crochet linen stitch blanket. I want to make an adult size couch throw so any suggestions on how many stitches to chain? I watched a couple of tutorials last night but they just made swatches with no suggestions on starting size for a blanket. I am so anxious to see how the yarn looks worked up. I bought the Cool Froid color because I plan on giving it to my son and daughter-in-law and those are the colors they have in their house. Thanks again for the inspiration!!
