It was yummy!

Honey Baked Ham on rolls, home made potato salad and deviled eggs … our picnic was yummy.

If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you may remember that we spend the Christmas holidays with Chris and his family most years. Rae was particularly upset at not having our traditional picnic together this year so we FaceTimed them during the picnic – they were having their picnic in front of the fire and since it warmed up here, we had ours in the library. So many happy holiday memories with my sweet Rae and I love that she treasures them too. I promised her, we’d celebrate together next year!

  1. Glad you got to Facetime with them. Our plan is to Zoom with everyone on Christmas morning, late after kids have had a chance to open gifts and have breakfast. Can’t wait.

  2. Merry Christmas, Mary! We’re sacrificing our traditions this year to preserve the possibility of future years. Let’s hope enough of us are equally careful in these perilous times.

  3. Merry Christmas! Hubby & I are spending this Christmas alone as well, no turkey this year I’m going to cook my favorite beef roast tonight for the hubby and myself. Hopefully next year we can all spend Christmas with our families.
