Merry Christmas 🎄

I hope your day has been as nice as mine. It started with our traditional French Toast brunch with mimosas – fixed by Keith (he’s always in charge of brunch!)

Followed by a drive to Picnic Island, a local park.

Then I had a couple hours in the sewing room. Prepped a binding to hand stitch tonight and worked on assembling the Windmill quilt. We FaceTimed with Adam and kids and now we’re watching the Viking game – that’s not going very well at this point – and it’s even cool enough to enjoy a fire. I’ll fix an easy dinner – ham, sweet potatoes, and fresh green beans in a little while.

Merry Christmas to you and your family!

  1. Quiet day here, too; we had a wonderful hour long ZOOM gathering of our whole family–catching up on our loved one’s lives that we haven’t seen in person since last Christmas..

Then, .I was able to get the batting franken-sewn for my Geese and have chosen a backing…hoping to get the central portion together for pin basting today…I plan to hand quilt in three sections…it’s very cold here 25 degrees…hugs Julierose

  2. It was a different Christmas for sure but thank goodness for FaceTime and Zoom for keeping in touch with our loved ones! Hoping 2021 is safe and healthy for you and your family.

  3. Merry Christmas Mary. Wishing you also a Covid-free new year. Thankyou for your blog. I enjoy it every day, although sometimes have to do a catch up when life takes over.

  4. Sounds like you had a very relaxing Christmas. We enjoyed our Christmas. Today our granddaughter turns 2! It doesn’t seem possible for her to be 2 already. Although, though this year has seemed like its lasted 2 or 3 years.
