Yes, another

Same hat, same yarn, same mistake! The only thing I did differently is cast on fewer stitches for a snugger fit and yes, I deliberately made the same mistake with my purls lining up rather than being offset.

Now I’m ready to start another blanket – I think I’ll crochet a linen stitch one. It’s one of my favorite patterns and very easy to stitch.

  1. Your hats look great. Love your pictures and wish I could take a walk but it’s too darn cold and we have icy snow on the ground now, not even sure we can drive today. It looks pretty outside but it’s way too cold.

  2. Mary, I never tire of seeing your works, I marvel at your energy, and creativity. The sun shines here this morning after the huge snowfall yesterday. Our road is not plowed, but hopefully by this afternoon so I can get to my physiotherapy session in town. Over two feet of snow in less than 24 hours. It was awesome to watch. Now the ground has good cover, and hopefully all my little bulbs will be ready to bloom in May.

  3. When you go for your daily hikes does Finn go with you? Your day is packed with so much activity I don’t know where you find all the energy, I love hearing about your adventures both in and out of the house. Have a wonderful day!

  4. The texture on the hat is so pretty, so it was a very positive mistake. Keep making it as the results are excellent. And of course the red yarn is my favorite so you can’t go wrong.

  5. Nice hats and the ‘mistakes has turned into a positive creative one. Does Finn enjoy hiking with you?
I started knitting a blanket last night for a change from baby cardi and hat sets that I have been knitting for local charity. Like to have something to do at night while sitting with DH.
