Quilted

I got another top quilted today – my scrappy hourglass top – it’s #5 so I’m making some progress with my March quilting marathon although it might continue past March as our April plans are up in the air right now. I was able to get an appointment for the first COVID vaccine at the end of the month but we’re still waiting to see when Keith will be eligible.

This is a pantograph that came with my machine so I don’t know the name, it just has a number.

I’ve also made a start on twisting the pinwheel blocks. I got really tired this afternoon and took a nap which is really unusual for me so I will work on some more of these after Keith goes to bed tonight.

  2. So glad you have a vaccine appointment. My first one will be a week from tomorrow. But Dave hasn’t gotten a call at all yet even though I registered us at the same time and we’re the same age. But our county is currently only doing the vaccines one day a week. Crazy!! But today one of the pharmacies in town vaccinated most of the staff at each of the public schools in town. I’m hoping the smaller school districts in the region get vaccinations soon too.

  3. I just had my second vaccine on Tuesday. So happy to have that done and the only side effect I had with both was a sore arm. The twisting pinwheels blocks are so cute!!

  4. So glad you are scheduled for your first Covid vaccine, hubby and I received our second last Friday. I love both your quilts and I do like that pantograph. I really like it!

  5. I love those “Twisting Pinwwheels”! Is that pattern hard? I love it – so happy & full of energy!

  6. I also love your twisted pinwheel blocks… ready for the wind to blow them. so cute. I assume you make them similar to your heart blocks. Can’t wait to see it finished.
Glad to hear you have an appointment for your shot. I had the first one and will get the next one in a couple weeks. There’s hope and light at the end of the tunnel.
