This scrappy Hourglass quilt is done! I finished hand stitching the binding down and I love how it looks. I used a 6 inch finished quarter square triangle die to cut this one from my scraps.
I also worked on some of the twisted blocks today and have another binding ready to hand stitch down tonight.
The simplicity of the design really lets the warmth of the colors shine through. Lovely, rich colors. I just spent way too much time on several different days under different light conditions trying to take a photo of a quilt and every photo was a fail. How do you take such great photos that show the quilting and the depth of color of the fabrics? How do you get the quilts to hang so straight?
