Three things on my to do list today and all 3 checked off!
- Finish twisting the pinwheel blocks
- Piece a back and load the green tumbler quilt on the longarm
- Make the binding for the 2nd Strips and Strings Log Cabin quilt and machine stitch it on. (I might even hand stitch it down tonight)
I had planned to take these blocks back to GA to assemble but I might just sew them together here in between quilting sessions.

You’re making me tired. I think I need another (Girl Scout) Samoa!
The pinwheel quilt is such a happy quilt!
Gosh, those blocks are happy and fun looking, Mary! It will end up adorable and make someone so happy. ~smile~ Roseanne
I’ve always liked the look of wonky pinwheels – they look very playful 🙂
I can even dream big enough to imagine getting all that done in a day.
You are really moving right along on this months goals, Mary!
That turned out really cute!! You must work nonstop during the day. I have too many distractions and pets, including a puppy.
I am loving all your bright happy quilts. You get so much done, I am just amazed.
Love your Pinwheel Quilt. It really dances!
Great blocks! I love the “twisted” look.
What a fun, happy quilt, Mary! And you look like you had fun putting it together. Someone will absolutely love getting this quilt.
I don’t usually like to make pinwheels, but I love your quilt and may give them a whirl again! THanks!
