The sewing room is done! I’ll move some things off the desk and put a couple trash cans in the closet Monday morning but it’s as neat and clean as it’s going to get. After getting that done, I decided to finish up the little 4th of July mat. That’s two big things checked off my list today.

I really like the mat. The firecracker makes me smile. I grew up in NYC and the old woman (probably the age I am now) next door used to light cherry bombs and throw them out her front and back doors and laugh. She was a sweet lady, except for 4rth of July.
