Happy Mother’s Day

I hope you all had a wonderful day. I was disappointed to not be with Mom or the boys today but I did get a wonderful present! Chris and Becky spent the afternoon at Big Canoe moving furniture around and getting the excess stuff in the garage for donation so the house is ready for the moving van in June. We bought the house furnished last April which has been great for us going up and using it this last year but some of it had to go to make room for the stuff we’re bringing. I’ll have a little less guest space since the longarm is going to take a room that I had a bed in but I’ll still be able to sleep 6 guests in beds … and there’s a futon and a couple cots so we can squeeze in some extra kids if we need to. I’ll end up with more guest space there than I have here so that’s good.

This is just to remind me how hard they worked today!

  1. What a wonderful gift. Mary! Acts of service is a valuable love language. Happy to see they made it possible for you to be one step closer to an easy move-in!

  2. How sweet of them to do this for you. Moving is such a big job. Hope your week of selling your place goes well this week.

  3. Loved seeing them all wave at the camera, especially the girls – think they are missing you both 🙂
