The house is officially listed as of today and we’re getting ready to head out. We’ll stay in a local hotel to be out of the way during these first few days and run back as needed. It will just be easier with Finn since there will be so much activity.
My sewing room has never looked so neat! I wanted to sew yesterday but I just couldn’t face the idea of dragging everything out and then having to put it all away again so I settled for some knitting time. We’ll see how things go through Saturday and if we end up with a contract on the house as quick as the realtor thinks we will, I will sew some next week. If we don’t and it looks like there’s going to be a lot of coming and going … I’m going to run away with Finn to Big Canoe. So either way, I should be able to sew some.
Looks fantastic! You are organization inspiration!
Wow Mary, everything looks so perfect. You did a heck of a job with your presentation preparations. Hope it moves along quickly.
It looks gorgeous, Mary! Best of luck on a quick sale (so you can get back to sewing.)
what a great job! Good luck with the next steps.
All of your work was worth it, because it looks ready and waiting to sell! Best wishes for a peaceful but quick transition.
Hi Mary! The house and photos look lovely. I suspect your Realtor is correct and it will go quickly. What a great idea to move to a hotel for the short term! The last minute drop-everything-and-get-out notices are nerve wracking. I hope everything goes well. ~smile~ Roseanne
You have a beautiful house and I’m sure it will sell quickly. I’ve always fancied a house with a porch but it’s not the style here in the UK. Good luck on a quick sale 🙂
It looks wonderful! I bet it will sell fast and you can get back to sewing soon. I like a speedy sale so things can get back to somewhat of a normal life quickly. Good luck!!
Wow, it looks great!!
Looks great! I think you will get numerous offers in th first week.
Lots of work, but I think in today’s real estate market, it should be worth it. Good luck!
Ahhh…good luck. I’ll be surprised if you don’t have a bidding war!
You and Keith out did yourselves on getting everything so perfect!!! It really looks so good. I do like your sewing room. Hopefully you get a Quilter to buy it. Very pretty home. xo
The house looks wonderful. I’m sure you will get a quick offer.
The house looks very appealing Mary. I too would be very surprised if it does not sell quickly. Good luck.
Hope you sale goes as fast as our DIL’s house….sold after 8 hours on the market for the full asking price. I’m sad she’s moving our grandkids further away, but happy she’s ready to move on with life. Our son’s sudden passing was a staggering blow to all of us.
Bless your heart having to go through all of this. I hope your bones are feeling okay, AA the best. Carolyn
It looks wonderful!
