This is a quick one – cut, pieced, and assembled in two afternoons. The info I have on this pattern can be found at this link. This is the second one I’ve made but I’ve got ideas for at least a couple more because it’s cute, quick to piece, and at 50 x 70, it’s a nice donation size too.

It would be fun to turn the rails on every other row in the opposite direction. I love the colors.

What a great quilt. Thanks for sharing your notes. I think I made note of them when you wrote about the first quilt. I’m curious if you use fat quarters for the colors? I suppose it really doesn’t matter all that much though. Hum, I wonder what it would look like in all sorts of purples — I have a lot of them now and it’s time to make them into a quilt and send them out in the world.
