Moving Day

The phone calls and texts from Keith started shortly after 8am so at least the movers showed up on time. Crossing my fingers that all goes well with the packing up in Tampa today and that it ALL fits! We chose these movers for two reasons. 1) they do a point to point move – only our stuff on the truck and they drive it straight to GA when they’re done. 2) large moving trucks are not allowed in Big Canoe and in the past they had to transfer stuff to a smaller truck and things got lost!

  1. Best wishes as everything is moved from one home to another. So happy to see that you are even sewing and knitting a little bit.

  2. Hope all goes well. Just wondering why all the houses are painted blue – is it mandatory for that area? I live in a conservation area and some of the streets have houses that have restrictions on them, re rebuilding, repairs etc.

  3. Glad to see the movers are there on time, and hope all goes well. I don’t ever recall seeing the beautiful tree lined street you lived on there. It looks so pretty!

  4. Fingers crossed that all goes well with your movers. Being on time is a great beginning to the process.

Our last move had the movers packing the truck on a Monday, then delivering our stuff on Wednesday. Not bad – except it was only 25 miles! They had a conflict on the Tuesday, so the whole truck went into their warehouse (6 blocks from our new location) until Wednesday. LOL Nothing lost thankfully.

  5. Hi Mary! I hope it all goes well for you both. I used Two Men & A Truck the two times I’ve moved successfully. My fingers are crossed and prayers coming your way. {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne

  6. Mary,

I do hope everything fit in the truck. Here’s hoping it all arrives safely and you and Keith survive putting everything in its place.
