Up and running!

The dealer came to set up the longarm this morning and I’m thrill with how it fits in the room. I will just be walking around one side but there’s plenty of space to do that AND plenty of room behind it for some shelving units and bins. They also addressed the issue I was having with it being harder to move in the center. Just as I’d thought the original dealer had set that middle leg too high and when I questioned it, told me that the machine was just heavier than my Gammill and I’d get used to it. I did load some muslin just to make sure it stitched ok and they tweaked a couple things and I’m ready to go. I have some bins with my longarm supplies and thread that I need Keith’s help to move and I guess I’ll be shopping for some more shelving too.

  1. Congratulations on having your machine up & running again! With that major task done I’m sure you feel like a weight has been lifted off your shoulders and the rest of the organization will happen pretty quickly.

  2. So happy that you are set up so you can quilt again. It will make you feel more at home. Also happy to hear that a problem was fixed for the longarm. Too often we are dismissed when we say that we have problems with machines.

  3. Yeah! Congrats on getting it set up and this time it will be easier to quilt!

    • Mary I am glad for you that you have your machine up and running and working even better. Just wonderful. You have such great space. You are so organized. Congratulations.
