This is HeartStrings group quilt #2 of 7 sent to me by AnnG to quilt and donate. I finished the binding up tonight. Most of the time I use a single fabric for the center of my HeartStrings blocks but I love how this one uses various greens. It’s been a while since I’ve done that.

And AnnG sent the cutest back with this one too.

I have been following you for about a month or so, and wanted you to know how much I enjoy everything that you share. I live in Spokane, Washington and am an out of control quilter! Oh, and dog lover ☺
This quilt reminds me that even if the same pattern is used every quilt is different and happily reflects the maker.
What a lovely finish, Mary! That backing was in my stash, too. It’s in no less than three quilts that I’ve made over the years! I came across one of them recently as I was packing for our move.
The green backing is so adorable! And I do like those green center strips. They appear much more neutral than you would like.
I like that with different green center strips too. Works really well doesn’t it?
